
Both you and the recipient will now get an email to let you know that the license transfer has been completed. Once this is done, the license numbers you wanted to transfer will be registered to the recipients user account. Once your application has been received, a Reason Studios employee will review the license transfer to make sure everything is as it should be before approving the transfer. Unless the details you give us match an account in our data base, you won't get past this step, so you need to make sure you have the correct information. On the next page, you'll be asked to fill out the recipient's user name and email address. Please note that you cannot transfer an upgrade license without transferring the license you upgraded from. Check the licenses you want to transfer and hit the "Transfer licenses" button.

Once you have these details, log in to your user account and visit the " My Products" page.

Under Mac OS X, just drag the Record folder to the Trash. Also uninstall the CodeMeter Runtime Kit. Under Windows, please use the Uninstall feature.

You should only upgrade if the above applies to you, using the following procedure: Then you will automatically get a Record 1.5 license registered to your account. Registering your Reason 5 license will automatically give you a Record 1.5 license.

If you are a Record+Reason user and have purchased the Reason 5 upgrade.Therefore, you should only upgrade Record to version 1.5 in one of the following cases: Record 1.5 can not integrate with Reason 4, and will also require a new license to run. Upgrading from an earlier version of Record Version 1.5.1 is a free and recommended update for all Record 1.5 users. A list of the changes introduced in Record 1.5.1 can be found here.
